My puppy has a new buddy!

I haven't been around DU much lately, because a good friend of mine and her SO needed a place to stay for a few weeks- they have been here about a week now and things are going great having them around. They have been through some bad times, a bad scene, and a bad crowd. So they want to get back on their feet again. Her man got a new job within a couple of days of being here (such luck!) and they are on their way to saving up for their own place.
SO far I have my trash taken out every day :D, and tons of help cleaning and cooking, which is just awesome. I have company, and have been able to spend a little less time fretting over politics.

And to top it all off, they have a little kitten, who has made fast friends with my puppy. :D

They chase each other around, play-brawl over my puppy's rope, and curl up together when they've had enough. :D

11. Oh, they are

Our last roommates were *awful*- to the point that when they moved out we decided never to talk to them again. Hard decision, but damn. Those people were selfish and dirty and loud.

These guys are great though. The woman, my best friend, has been there for me and mine whenever we needed anything, like groceries, or clothes. Back before my SO got a promotion we were really struggling. And now its our turn to help her. :D
