He's at 698 posts!

Left_Winger, you are my friend and all, but I cannot associate with you in public until you are at least at 800. I would prefer 1000 just because, I'm too cool for all the people with low post counts, but, I'll let you go with 800. :)

2. Now that you are in "The 700 Club"
which leader of a sovereign nation that is withholding our oil from us would you like to recommend we assassinate.

3. I'm not into such things like assasination...
I don't know for sure yet, but I'll wager there is another Enron-style rip off concerning the high gas prices. I'm watching the report on CBS News about the cost of gas across the country. The first price was high, but everything in Manhattan is expensive. The gas price in PA (blue state) was higher than in Ohio (red state). Also, I live in a very red state and this morning the price of gas was $2.45 for regular. I wonder how this compares to prices in blue states?

4. I filled up in Jersey yesterday for $2.42
but saw prices around "The Garden State" ranging from that low to around $2.60.

5. I found an interactive report on CBS which shows the prices by state
It looks like it varies from state to state. Maybe my idea is a flop.

9. I agree
California traditionally, to the best of my knowledge, has the highest average gas prices, and you don't get much "bluer" than California. California DU'ers or anyone else tell me if this assumption is wrong

6. Some places in California (blue state) are going for $3.13
And it's mainly in cities that have the word "SAN" in their name - San Bernadino, San Diego, San Jose, and San Fransisco.

When I filled up on Saturday in San Bernadino, it was $2.89.

8. I'm not doing too bad
I could use more sleep, but I was off schedule so bad waking up late in the afternoon that I pretty much had to stay up twenty-four hours just to get back on track on Monday. I'm getting back on a good schedule now though.

Classes are interesting though. I have some good ones. Nope, you don't sound like my mom. My mom has no interest in the stuff I study. She just kinda knows that I go with the flow. I'm quite different than the rest of my family. They just sort of let me be my odd creative, intensely political and intellectual self, haha.
