1. I'm smiling. I love the Far Side. Own the big collection of them.

some "drug pusher" type guy soliciting business with a bunch of zoo animals tied up in an alley

Two guys are stranded on a tiny desert island with a single palm tree. They are both ragged, and it's obvious they've been there for a while. One turns to the other and says: "Thanks for being my friend, Wayne".

14. The one with that fat, pimply faced kid

at a workbench with broken test tubes and beakers and rising smoke and these feathers floating around, the kid with soot on his face and his glasses askew. Caption: "God as a kid tries to make a chicken in his room." My most favorite.

oh, and Peanuts were my favorite comics.

11. The Real Reason Dinasaurs Became Extinct

and the panel shows a group of dinasaurs furtively smoking cigarettes behind a tree.

That and "Bummer of a birthmark, Hal" with the two deer, one of whom has a target birthmark on his chest.

12. I LOVE The Far Side, especially the ones with cows in them.

15. COWS!

Cows in a field -- standing up on back legs -- a "watch" cow yells "CAR" and the next panel the cows are back on 4 legs eating grass, very cow like.

Cows were his favorite subject. He'd go to the Seattle zoo for inspiration.

13. "What really happened to Elvis Presley"......

shows a drawing of Norman Bates silouetted in a window of the house on top of the hill just behind the Bates Motel. Norman is shouting, "No, Mother! Please tell me you didn't do it!"

Also, "Aerobics in hell." is a drawing of a group of people working out in a gym, counting down exercise repetitions, "1,435,699,... 1,435,698,...1,435,697."

16. The Far Side = Greatest Comic Strip of all time

actually, it was more a comic block, but it was the best example of genius on the comics page ever.

19. Two spiders spinning a web at the bottom of a kiddie slide.

A fat kid is about to go down the slide.

One spider says to the other: "If we pull this off, we'll eat like kings."

20. My favorite

I tired searching Google images and couldn't find it, but it's the one with a cat sitting next to a fishbowl with a piranha in it, and the cat has wooden peg legs.

21. chickens in the mist....and my very favorite....

...where there's a chicken in prison smokin' a cigarette on death row and he's tellin' a man why he's locked up..."...old McDonald had this farm... see...and I chop chopped here and I chop chopped there..." PRICELESS!! I really miss Larson's comics...sigh!! :7
