No need to live in pain when there are drugs in the desk drawer
Edited on Thu Aug-25-05 08:29 AM by MissMillie
I think I've developed bursitis in my right shoulder. So I took some tylenol.

At lunch time I'll get some ice at the cafeteria and ice the shoulder.

This really sucks. Seems every time I get into a grove w/ my workouts, something always tries to sidetrack me. Well, I'm not falling for it this time. I may not be able to do my upper body workouts, but I'm going to keep up w/ my jogging.

1. I have bursitis in my left shoulder ...
I was told I should get a cortizone shot. I refuse - I eat aspirin on my shoulder days before I workout and deal with it.

2. I have the same catch 22
Had arthroscopic surgery in my knee in May, finally got to the point where PT said I could start agility exercises, calf muscle got so tight I pulled it.

I had two frozen shoulders, sometimes it starts out with other conditions like tendonitis or rotary cuff injury, so make sure you move it around every once in a while to keep the range of motion.

Good luck

3. Seems we are opposites.
Due to knee replacement, hip surgery a few yrs ago, and now 2 badly herniated discs in my L4-5. I can not do any work on the lower half without intense searing pain, but i give the upper half hell ;)

I wish i could jog or ride a bike, as i do miss the bike riding. Good luck jogging.
