7. Not a lot....
I'm posting in the Lounge, listening to some music, having a martini and dreading babysitting my nephew this weekend. I love him a lot but he's going through a cantankerous phase right now....

Khash.

18. He's 11
Up until now he's been sweet.... now he's becoming difficult. It's always been me and him against the world. Partners in crime, co-conspirators, rebels, revolutionaries.... able to face our family with a cold sneer and standing together.

He's always been my monkey boy and I have always been a monkey's uncle.....

But not right now, apparently.

Khash.

24. Take him hiking
Better yet, if you have a handheld GPS, taking him geocaching. All the 11-yr-olds I've ever met have loved getting out in the brush and seeing what they can find.

10. Kicking back with a nice bottle of wine
I was sent the wrong item when I ordered the other day (retail wine and liquor dept) - they sent a high end reserve syrah at about $45 a bottle instead of the run of the mill $7.99 syrah and they charged me for the regular one. The company's rep came in today to fix the problem and he fixed it by purchasing the bottles back (since I don't carry them) at the price I was charged and he gave me one. So I have a very nice bottle of wine that I got for free to enjoy while I watch some Star Trek Next Generation on DVD.

I'm happy. :)

15. I'll watch Big Brother and CSI and then start back trying
to catch up on my Intro to Computers homework. I've had a class higher on the list than that one, so it's REALLY mundane work to have to do all over again. It's almost identical to the last class, but with a newer textbook. Boring, boring, boring. I bought the book. I'm NOT buying the software. I have Works. All I have to do is print the crap out and make it look the same. I mean a .doc file from Word is a .doc file from Word. Teach... get over it. He keeps telling me to buy the software. If repubs can say it then I can say it too, "Not gonna do it."

16. The wife and I .....
.... are going to go and get 5-6 large plastic flower pots. We're gonna mix a bag of concrete, put each pot on its side and put in about a 3" layer of concrete.

This weekend, we'll put these in our pond at a depth of about 4'. The catfish will lay eggs in them and breed. We will eventually eat the young catfish, the ones that the bass don't eat anyway :)
