ARGH! Can't figure out the voicings in Bell Biv Devoe's "Poison"! HELP!!!

I'm trying to figure out the way the vocal (really keyboard) parts are voiced in the middle 8 before the chorus of "Poison", and it's eluding me. There's some little twist I can't get. Anybody out there happen to know the right way to play it?
