So it seems I have a major artery in my middle finger
I cut myself near the fingernail while at an appointment and I've been gushing blood now for the last hour. You know how hard it is to type with a fricking bandaid (gone through 3 so far) on your left finger?

1. Butterfly closures work well
I did the same thing the other day - cut myself on the tip of my finger with a bread knife and I couldn't believe how much it bled. A butterfly closure was the only thing that finally stopped it. And yes, it's hard to type that way! :hi:

4. Well, don't bleed out. I mean stop the bleeding then type. Aaaah.
I thought you were going somewhere else with this. Maybe you could take a picture of it for the antiwar protestors to hold up for Bush when his stupid ass rides by in his motorcade.

5. Are you near an automobile with a cigarette lighter. If so, they are
an excellent way to cauterize bleeding fingers, toes, noses, etc.

6. Were you flipping off another FReeper?
Don't you know they bite? Now you'll have to get all those shots and everything. :-)

I am now tempted to make some awful pun about your keyboard being "washed in the blood of LynneSin", but I think I shan't...

7. Hands have a lot of nerves & blood vessels
Anything highly ennervated is going to bleed a lot (as scalps, noses, and penises do, too).

Wishing you a speedy healing!
