1. Bats.
Edited on Thu Aug-25-05 08:12 PM by achtung_circus
Mostly when they are indoors, in which case I totally freak. I don't like them outdoors either, though.

12. I have a yard full of bats
I love to watch them come out at night. They like to sleep in the chimney. They keep the mosquitoes down and on occasion when one does get into the house, I just open the door and they fly out.

Flies and roaches are the worst though... earwigs are high on my lits of little nasties as well as those damn meal worms that get into food you keep in the cupboard too long.

come out the door at night.... land right on your face, its little suction cupped, cold and clammy feet trying desperately to find a "safe" spot on your face???? Not nice.

29. YES!! That has happened to me!
It was actually more than one of the little suckers, and I did such a hebbie jebbie dance that night!! That was about 9 years ago.

I'm not afraid of tree frogs though. I'd just rather be prepared for them.

Slugs and lizards really creep me out.

stroke his back... sort of like petting him.. without jumping or freaking out, imagine that one will you....

7. Eh. Spiders don't bother me.
But I have an irrational fear of moths. Yes, yes, I know they don't bite. Still, if it weren't for my valiant, moth-slaying kitty I'd jump around squealing a lot more than I do.

in south Louisiana, I was cleaning up and a fucking swarm of them attacked me, got in my long hair and scared the shit outta me. I thrashed around so much I ran into walls, doorframes. I was horribly bruised for weeks. :scared:

28. Now that will cause a bad case of Heebie Jeebies.
I was driving off from my parent's house one night, and about 20 of them started running up my winshield. OMG. I hit the brakes and saw they were outside. Then I floored it to get them all off.

It took me a couple of minutes after parking to get out, and I slammed the door fast and ran out of the car...LOL.

I hate those things!

41. I don't like the scorpions. Especially the big ones because
when they get in your house you hear them walking on the tile and that is really creepy. They make that ticky ticky ticky sound. And then the cats get weirded out and drop on their bellies and start slithering away and you just know that a big scorpion is in the house.

Pretty soon you are tucking yourself inside your sheets to make sure he can't crawl up in there.
