Poll question: How do you like your steak?
I went out for a delicious steak dinner tonight with some friends, and I was struck how the three of us differed in our preference of meat doneness. I like mine medium well. What about you?

Ever since that cow bolted on his way to the slaughterhouse I've been unable to even peruse the meat setion in supermarkets.

Lesson: don't look at these threads. They're bait and I shouldn't bother.

Edited on Fri Aug-26-05 12:31 AM by nothingshocksmeanymo
You posted this thread a minute after this thread (which originally was a PETA slamming treatise) was locked.

And this post makes it imminently clear that the only purpose this "how do you like your steak" question serves is nothing more than a ruse to antagonize vegetarians.

I may eat meat but I respect people who don't and don't go out of my way to overtly antagonize them.

WHat the fuck is up with that?

47. You have your viewpoint, I have mine...
I have no use for anyone who uses sensationalism like PeTa does in attacking my right to eat meat, watch a rodeo, or own a pet. Research their true intent and you may not support them.

53. With all due respect...
The one who needs to do the research is you. I have a sneaking suspicion that you've only ever gotten your information about PeTA from people who hate PeTA.

You are obviously a smart person...if you could get past the stereotypes first and actually understand the core values of PeTA with an open, non-judgmental mind, I'd bet you'd agree with most of their values at least on a basic level.

I buy HUGE bottles of HP when I go home for a visit. Bought a few extras this last time and gave them to friends at work. I can't imagine why it's not available in the USA though. If it is, I can't find it.

I used to get it in Canada when I lived there, I'm from Scotland originally and grew up with it, came to the USA and cannot get it .. unless I buy online and I'm SURE they charge a small fortune for it. So I stock up when I visit home.

almost like a thick worcestershire. Very dark brown and has just the right tang to it. It's a malt vinegar base with blend of fruits and spices. NOTHING like A-1 though. A-1 yuk.
