5. I saw your prior thread about her passing.

I offer my condolences again, and this: Although funerals are a sad occasion, at least (as you mentioned) it's an occasion to see family you might not otherwise have a chance to visit with.

I hope you and yours will go away from this sad occasion with a stronger resolve to visit and keep in touch more in the future than you have in the past. That has happened in our family, and it's a good thing.

Grieve as you need to; we'll be here when you're ready to come back. After all, we're family in some way, even if only electronically. But we're here for you like your blood realtives are, you know that.
