Another online poll fight is in the works. A little Quad City online newspaper is running a poll asking whether Cindy Sheehan is a Traitor or a Hero?. Right now the results are looking bad (lot of freepers online on Saturday morning?)

Currently the vote is Traitor-81% to Hero-15%. But that's with only 1300 votes or so. We've got to kick this one into gear. Yes it's a silly contest, but it's harmless to try and show them that the country believes in Cindy.

I found this LTTE in that paper:

Explain to me how this policy isn’t weakening America?

I’ll do you one better — describe one aspect of U.S. Middle Eastern policy over the last 50 years that has not damaged the reputation of America worldwide, especially among the Middle Eastern nations.

The current premise of our crusade in Iraq is supposedly based on the abstract notions of “freedom” and “democracy.” Please. It’s the oil, folks. We want it. We need it.

It has become painfully clear that the desire of the insurgency to claim as many American lives as possible before the inevitable pullout underscores the need for an actual game plan, instead of just “winging it” in Iraq with the lives of those other than politicians’ children.

3. I don't know how this works, but I suspect

Some pimply faced yellow elephant is running some kind of software on it to run up the total. It increased substantially every time I refreshed. The real question is the "traitor" tag. The QC Times (whoever the hell that is) should be ashamed of themselves for the poll itself.

(On Edit) The reason I say this is that these Repug morans can't get their fingers out of their noses fast enough to vote at this rate.
