Tech help? Digital camera and e-mails.

I AM SOOO PISSED!
My daughter gave me a nice digital (Kodak EasyShare DX7630, if that matters) for my birthday. Sweet kid, and generous.

But to share pictures online I first have to sign up for a fecking Ofoto (Kodak) account and jump through a dozen hoops so that their WEBSITE can send an "invitation" to whoever I want to e-mail a photo to "inviting" them to share my "album".

PISS. OFF.

I just want to put the photo into an e-mail and not have to screw around taking half an hour with their POS, 2-bit program and website.

Is there any way to just load the pictures from the camera (or from a location on my computer) right into an e-mail with out all the Kodak rigamarole and hoopla?

1. just save them in your my pictures folder

and open a new email and click the paperclip attachment

Picasa (from Google). It's easy, free and it really works. You can use gmail or whatever your address is. It's a nice little program.

7. Easy ..........

(1) Make sure you have the photos on your computer, say in My Documents.

(2) When you have the email you want to send click in the message field of the email. Then click on Insert - Picture. Then click on Browse - go to the My Documents folder - My Pictures and click on the one you want to send.

(3) Click Ok. It's right there.

Now, sometimes you cannot send more than say a three MB file. So you may have to send more than one email if you have many more.

6. Just send them as attachments

Save the images on your computer in the jpeg format. Resize them if neccessary so the file you send doesn't take forever.

Your other option is to upload them to a photobucket (or similar) account, and then direct your friends to that location

8. Did it! Thanks guys. In OE Tools-Options-Security had to uncheck

"Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that may contain a virus." AVG scans all my e-mails, so I hope I'm still OK.
