WHITE whole grain bread????
I was surfing to another site just now and got a pop-up ad from Sarahlee saying they have a WHITE whole-grain bread??? How is that possible??? duhh????

1. Not sure how they do it, but at 150 calories per slice
I'll stick with whole grain. At least your get some taste with your calories that way!

so that would make it just plain white flour wouldn't it?? What is the difference from regular white bread? I'm confused.

7. White bread . . .
. . . is made from wheat that has had the germ and bran removed. The bran and germ are still on the grains when they are ground to make whole grain bread.

BTW, they take out the germ and bran so rats and insects will not eat the flour when it is stored. They know better than to eat it, because it is "dead food."

5. Bleeech.
Sounds like a marketing ploy to me, kind of like "sweet wheat," "cracked wheat," and "honey wheat," which all only have about 1g or so of fiber.
