1. You sure got ME interested.
Here's their webpage: http://www.germandeli.com/dallmayrcoffee.html

I've been ordering my beans from Gevalia for the last few years: http://www.gevalia.com/Gevalia/ but I'll look that stuff over.

I drink ALL my coffee black (except for cappuchino & latte), but I'm sure using plenty of sugar lately.

2. It's expensive.
Edited on Sun Aug-28-05 09:32 AM by JonathanChance
About five bucks for 8.8oz.

I bought it from a supermarket in Green Bay called Woodman's that has a gigantic international foods section. They had Coke in half liter glass botlles imported from Mexico there.

I saw this stuff in the liqor department...

Didn't buy it though.

7. Gevalia ain't cheap either!
Check out their Blue Mountain whole beans. That's the most expensive of the 4 different beans I order from them, but the others aren't too cheap either.

3. Interesting but have you heard of Illy?
Illy's workers are the best bean scientists in the business. Expensive but makes a great treat or gift for a coffee lover.

4. I've heard of it.
Didn't see it at that store, though.

Wow. Makes Dallmayr look cheap.

6. I will go by Woodman's in LaCrosse
Soon and will see if they have the Dallmayr as my supply is down to a few beans. I would love to learn to roast my own, too.
