Have you seen "The Deal" starring Christian Slater?

If you haven't, don't. It is undoubtedly the worst movie ever. Just goes to show that just because you have a big name doesn't mean your movie can't totally suck. I read the box before I rented and it seemed "alright", sort of a John Grishamesque movie, the title even sounds like John Grisham. The whole movie was just wrong, everything about it sucked. Slater produced it, the acting sucked, the cast was all wrong, the "mood" of the film was wrong, the soundtrack was wrong, the set-up of the scenes was all wrong, the dialogue was wrong. I could go on... Look just don't rent it, it sucked ass.

I was going to rent it but something just didn't seem right about it. Why had I never heard of it? Why weren't there any critical blurbs, even made-up ones, on the box? And the last Slater movie I had watched totally sucked (Some supernatural horror thing, the title of which I can't recall).
But the story on the box sounded interesting and I would've rented it if the Hollywood Video folks hadn't found me a copy of "Sin City" at the front counter. But I'll stay away from it. Thanks again.
