vegans are made of meat
muscle tissue makes the best steaks. livers, kidneys, what have you.

what a conundrum. how does a vegan live with that?

5. Easily, and with a very, very clear conscience.
Why?

Actually, "meat" being the edible flesh of mammals (usually) human vegans really aren't made of meat, unless you plan to eat me.

6. it's a nonsense joke thread
but slice a part of yourself open and you'll see some stuff that looks a lot like meat.

7. Probably. I've also worked on a lot of dogs that were hit by cars.
What's left to repair looks a lot like "meat" too, but I wouldn't want to eat that either.

I was just answering your question. I didn't realize it was a "nonsense joke" post.

13. Hmm. Usually jokes are supposed to be funny.
And not only was your OP not even close to resembling a funny joke, but you also didn't even manage to succeed in getting the usual raging, meat-eating DU nutjobs all rialied up. Now that is pretty sad and a testament to how unbelievably dead these "jokes" are.

15. I'm thinking of another word...
But if I said it, I'd get my post deleted. ;) We vegetarians are a wee bit smarter than that.

11. Oh for the love of God.
DO we really need to have the neurological/CNS discussion YET again?

OP, you're about 657 posts too late from the time when "jokes" like this about vegetarians/vegans were actually *almost* funny. Sorry.

16. That wasn't your question.
And moreover, if you don't even care about an animal with a CNS, why are you acting holier-than-thou about vegetarians eating plants? This little and loud argument has been tried over and over and over and over and it has failed to point out anything substantive other than what an incredibly invalid and ridiculous "argument" it actually is.

19. As I said before...
Usually jokes are supposed to be remotely funny. These "jokes" were maybe funny, like, 3,495 posts ago.

Why don't you start bashing gays next? Or no, maybe you could bash Buddhists, next right? Now THAT would be funny.

22. Locking
I recognize that a number of folks enjoy the popcorn with these kinds of threads but I have to say this topic is feeling really old and is getting rather boring. In addition there are a number of members here who take this subject with a great deal of seriousness and the continual posting of this stuff feels really purposely demeaning to their choices.
