2. Green Day was the first act. I love GD!!! And they did win for best

rock group. But my 15 year old is glued to this. I'm loosing it!

6. I watched it earlier

Quite the obscene display of wasted wealth. I wondered about the water theme. Is that just a coincidence, or did they decide on that since the hurricane crossed South Florida? It's not very funny right now.

Some cheeseball opera about him fucking some married woman whose husband is fucking another man or whatever?

At least Green Day won most of the awards they were nominated for. I've never given up watching the MTV Awards entirely, though there hasn't been a truly great show since 1996. Bad habits, I guess.

Other than that, Beavis & Butthead were probably the highlight of the show. I miss those guys :evilfrown:

EDIT: As far as Diddy or Piddy or whatever he's calling himself this week, not the best host. Bring back Chris Rock. I tried to like Puffy after his "Vote or Die" thing last year, but, true to form, he once again milked the corpse of his dead "best friend" Biggie tonight, mixing old videos with an orchestra. Hip-hop and orchestras might be an insteresting mix, but leave the dead guy out of it already.
