My hissing cockroach likes bananas and Led Zeppelin |
|
I always knew the old boy liked bananas, but the other night I rented "The Song Remains the Same" and I had the roach out on the T.V. tray (yes I washed it afterward) so he could eat some banana. He ate, then parked himself oriented toward the Tee Vee. Just for kicks I rotated the table 90 degrees and I'll be jiggered if the old boy didn't amble over to the side of the table facing the Tee Vee. He sat there for the rest of the movie. I was not high.

5. I teach elementary school. I keep him over the summer. |

The kids are grossed out by him at the beginning of the year, but they grow to love him. He is a pretty docile creature, not like those big water cockroaches that run fast.

"Song" was NOT Zep's finest hour, IMO.

6. Agreed. Just needed something different for the evening after |
|
watching too many heavy movies. Have you seen "One Hour Photo"? Creepy.

7. I've heard that's creepy. |
|
Haven't seen it yet, though. I rarely get to watch adult themed fare these days. The kiddos (and my wife) monopolize the tube.
Try the roach on some Cheech and Chong. Roaches tend to dig the stoner movies.

4. Heck, here in FL you can have all the cockroach friends you like, |
|
just don't spray your house for bugs for a month or so. Your cockroach has excellent taste in music. :-)
