U.S. tennis player Venus Williams chats with nine-year-old Abby Boyd from Wichita, Kansas at an American Express charity event in New York City August 26, 2005. Williams, who will compete in the 2005 U.S. Open tennis championship, was taking serves from fans on a court set up on a side street in midtown Manhattan to benefit the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Tennis and Education Foundation's 'Aces for Kids' initiative. American Express has agreed to donate $1,000 to the initiative for every ace served against Williams and $100 for every ace served at Arthur Ashe Stadium during the Open, which starts August 29.
