5. You're welcome! These storms are scary.

My hubby is a NOLA native and he lived through both Betsy and Camille. My grandparents and Great Aunt and Uncle lived through Betsy, Camille and Frederick. Frederick came all the way up to Chattanooga, where I grew up, and slammed the city. It was so powerful so far inland.

4. Oh jeez - NO! Not sarcastic!

I'm so sorry. I knew there were a bunch of threads earlier, but I must have logged back on at an unfortunate time - and didn't see any near the top. I was being lazy - but any DUers who know me know that A) I live in an area that is usually hit by pretty bad aftereffects of any gulf coast hurricane AND that B) I would NEVER be sarcastic about this.
