I love Mr. Clean "magic eraser"

So rare to find a product that does what it says it will do

Was cleaning the walls this week, and the "magic eraser" got rid of the marks and scuffs - it works great.

I can't figure out how it works, though.

My goodness. On TV, it looks like one of those 'no effin' WAY' type products. What is it made of, and how long does it last??? How much do they cost???

5. it does work!

and its pretty cheap, 3 dollars for a package of 2 at the fancy store by me. and 1 lasts a decent amount of time depending on how you use it. We used 1 to clean all the hard to get off dirt at my new apt. in one day (but mind you it was a full day of cleaning a dirty gross apt) and we are still using the second one almost a month later.

I was like, whoa, it actually works the way they say.

Their advertising for it scared me off for a bit cause its too "infomerically" but it does live up to their claims!

24. Seriously, it works pretty much as advertised. I bought it for

use on leather, and it does the job. The same one that cleaned my sofa also was used to scrub my bird's cage and the wrought iron banister.

I guarantee you won't be disappointed with it and that is truly a shocker, I admit!

26. My friend in Spain who visited last year asks me to send them.

That's how good they are.

I've used them on scuffed doors, painted surfaces, and outdoor furniture, and they worked great on all of them.

I was just telling my brother that the commercials for them made me want to check them out, but this was the first time in forever that the product actually delivered.

It's a small thing, but those scuffed door bottoms were bugging me.

9. reminds me of a funny story about Mr clean and my son when he was about 4

apparently I let him watch too much TV and Mr cleans motto was one he picked up. He said to me one day that if I didn't use Mr Clean I was working too hard. I actually had to buy a bottle of the stuff to prove to him that that Mr. clean would not come out of the bottle and do the work for me.

I think it's really, really, really fine sandpaper. So, actually you're taking off a little bit of paint or whatever. If it gets rid of the marks, I couldn't care less.

it is the only think that will clean out the dirt on the handles of my refrigerator, they have a bit of a texture and i could never get them totally clean until i brought that thing home, i think i've tried in almost every room of my house.

You're essentially sanding the finish with an extra-fine sander.

I've found it's particularly good for getting rid of old nasty black smudges on cabinets and refrigerators. Because it will remove finish, it's best used on unpainted surfaces, but you can use it on paint if you're careful.

But it took some elbow grease, which wasn't needed when I used it on other things. I love that thing!

32. i have an old tub with a big soap scum build up. i used a whole one

but it looks shiney and as new as it can look without being refinished.

i love these things and they are pretty cheap. sometimes i just walk around the house with one looking for things to scrub

I tried it, it worked like a charm, but then found out what was in it and stopped. I didn't trust it was safe around pets (birds in particular).

Perhaps someone with a more scientific background can enlighten me if I'm incorrect.

33. They're great if you have small children.

They get crayon off the wall. One of the few times a product is as great as advertised. They're a cheaper alternative to repainting, for sure.
