How are you all this morning? Evening? Whichever. Well, I'm updating in the city that never sleeps, and I'm not sleeping right now... so I think I'm on track with that. YEAH. It's cool, I haven't started classes yet so I don't have to worry about being early. =)

I had a request for a first day update, and i guess now this is more like, first day and a half update, so it's the 1.5 day update. Anyway, it's been going fairly well. My roommates seem fantastic and liberal and wonderful. I've met so many many people and I'm beginning to decipher which ones actually want to be friends and which ones are just friend whores. It's interesting, I never actually have had people actively try and be my friend, all throughout high school... I mostly hung out with girls from my soccer team because nobody would be friends with me! So that's awkward a lot, but my roomie and I have the same feelings about it, so we have some good conversations. The other roomie is a little more "Hi, My Name Is..." capable than I or the roomie I mentioned before . So yeah tonight I went with a couple non-roommates to this jazz concert at the student center, which was just jazz students from Tisch or Steinhardt School, not real players. Anyway. That's about it. I'll hang on DU for a bit, tomorrow I have to find a work-study job... eeek.
