Poll question: Kanye West - overrated or not?

I'm not a rap fan, so I wanted to get some DU opinion. His lyrics might be a little ego-centric in the generic rap sense to go down as one of the few best rappers ever, but I can see the appeal of his stuff.

2. As far as mainstream hip-hop goes, he's pretty good...

Definitely one of the best in the mainstream scene. And at least he's socially conscious and not one of these dime-a-dozen faux thugs.
