..I'm a fifty something year old man, blubbering like a baby. I've got to turn off the television. The kicker was that gentleman in Mississippi being interviewed. He had a son or grandson by him and he had lost his wife. He kept saying "I'm lost. I'm lost."

turn off the live internet feeds...take a step back and breathe. Do something with your loved ones. Meditate. Pray. Whatever helps.

Sadly, the news will be horrific for a long time to come. It's ok if you don't watch any more of it right now.

I too saw footage of that man and felt so badly for him.

8. I saw that last night and I cried like a baby.

I still hadn't heard from my in-laws in Lacombe, LA (we now know they are OK but that's all: they sent out a message by ham radio.)

I was watching for news on St. Tammany Parrish and I saw that TV interview. The woman reporter started crying too. That poor man gave his name and his wife's name. Then he said "I'm lost." The look on his face and the face of the children was pure devastation.
He was in shock. I wish they would post his name (I can't remember what it was.) I'd send him some money. I don't have much but I'd share what little I have with him.
