Anyone from the area of Slidell? Please check in, I have a question

I used to have a good acquaintance who lived right on the canal in Slidell. I have not been in touch with him for many years, but have always thought of him and family during times such as these. I understand that Slidell is essentially flattened, and want to find out if anyone out there in DUland mught know this family.

1. Mr. CottonBear grew up in Slidell and his family lives in Lacombe.

PM me your friends name and I'll ask Mr. CB if he knows him. Mr. CB moved from Slidell to Memphis in 1969 to go to college but lived there on and off after that.

We only heard that they are OK. They somehow got that simple message out by ham radio to someone with a phone. We don't know if they still have houses or if their dogs are OK.

3. Be sure to look on those forums. I've found the most info. there so far.

Look in all of the St. Tammany forums and read through all the messages. You may want to post on there and ask if anyone knows your friend. Others are doing that.
