If you can see Green Day in concert - what an absolutely amazing show

They know how to perform and despite all the eye-liner criticism, Billie Joe Armstrong is an amazing stage presence. Worth every penny I've spent and every moment of sleep I've missed.

I just hope some of those kids there picked up on the bands anti-war/anti-bush sentiment. Nothing makes a cheering crowd start booing when you introduce yourself as George W. Bush (which is what he did when he was finishing up the band intros).

Merriweather Post Pavillion is one of those Pavillion/Seats in the front and lawn in the back. Plus there was a giant size sign coming into the Pavillion that said "No Crowd Surfing or Moshing" The band still had some fans come up on stage and do some stage diving
