The racism I keep hearing in 'real life' is pissing me off no end.

Not here, not even in FR (where it's not surprising).

I mean from people I thought I knew and liked, who keep saying coded phrases about "they/those people" messing up the Superdome and "they/those people" coming in to Houston and "they/those people" looting and on and on and on and on. :grr: :nuke:

I'm glad I have this place as a refuge from that shit.

"They" is NOT always a code phrase for racism in any way. You have to judge it by the person saying it.

8. meh, my mother in law uses that as a synonym for y'all

as in "You people set the table and I'll get the dinner out of the oven" or "So I told the neighbors, you people need to watch out, or that tree's going to fall on your power line".
