Oh, man! The British judge on "Dance" finally spoke some truth!
Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 07:21 PM by Rabrrrrrr
america voted a guy off, and the British guy said, in effect, 'your routine was too difficult to understand; people want to be entertained. You have to ask the question, does America want to see you do a (technical name for dance move) in Swan Lake, or in something more entertaining? I think the answer is obvious. They want to be entertained, they don't care about skill. And here on this show, it's not about technical prowess or how good you are, it's about dancing the dance that Americans want to watch. Most Americans will think that a (technical name for a dance move) is something that a Mexican throws over his shoulders anyway. It's about entertaining them so they will vote for you.'

Fucking brilliant!! And so true.

2. Yep. It explains Dumbya, pop music, pop entertainment,
Bon Jovi, Kenny G, Kinkade, Brittney, American Idol, etc.

It explains a lot about America.

Except for you and me and a few others.

3. Wow, and you think you know someone
I'm shocked that you'd even watch that shit.

Or are you doing research for another vulgarity-laden rant? :P

4. I'm watching because I'm cleaning the house and vacuuming

and didn't feel like watching anything important, that I might miss a line of dialogue or something.

It just happened that I had turned off the vacuunm cleaner right before the British guy delivered his line, and I was vacuuming right by the stereo, so I heard his tirade AND the introduction of the voted off guy.

And I think the British guy's words can stand in for my rant.

5. Still
I hereby sentence you to one thousand consecutive viewings of Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step" video - yes the one with "Every Little Step I Take" in huge and notably non-SpinalTapish letters, and more spastic 'dancing' than most humans can bear to watch.

With matchsticks in your eyes. And eyedrops.
