I know you're trying to make a point....but I could NOT vote for any of your choices...

6. Understood.
It was a really tacky and overly sarcastic way of making the point. I shouldn't post while I'm grumpy.

It's just bumming me out. I have extremely low expectations of Mr. Bush, and am stunned and disappointed that he couldn't even meet those. Obviously a president isn't going to play that hands-on a role in relief efforts, but he is a public face of those efforts. Instead of going straight back to Washington last weekend to convey the message that he has people's backs in the Gulf Coast, he dicked around campaigning, doing fundraisers, and playing his little guitar. That's just callous and wrong. I honestly expected more.

8. Oh, no worries, my dear Telly Savalas!
I hadn't realized that you were feeling grumpy at all...

And I sure do understand why you are! As am I...and any thinking, rational person...

Thank you so much for responding...I appreciate a lot hearing you think...

5. Is there a family values republican who ignored a non-breathing child?
Wouldn't surprise me, in fact I would expect it, I just haven't heard anything about it.

7. Not that I'm aware of.
Just making a comment about Bush's lack of concern for what's going on in the Gulf Coast. As per CaliforniaPeggy's comment, it wasn't a very tactful way of making the point.
