So, are we living through that great "Twilight Zone" episode, "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street," where the aliens land and start turning power off and on, causing cars to cease functioning -- while suddenly allowing one "special" car to work -- and then sit back, watching humanity tear itself to shreds, to "get the goods" in the midst of a self-created panic?

(Note: Not talking about the very real situation on the Gulf Coast, but a lot of the self-fulfilling hysteria working its way across the country...)

home to a couple of legendary music bars, so someone might just have written a song like that about it. :scared:
