1. Great site
I notice on the graph you posted that gas prices began to plummet in the mid eighties. I recall when I began driving in early 1985 gas was selling for 81 cents per gallon. I can't imagine we'll ever see prices anywhere near that low again.

local TV news reporting that gas c"could" reach $4.00/gal soon

yesterday Gov. Rendell started urging conservation to avoid gas shortages...

guys at work were planning on buying locking gas caps....

gas lines coming? rationing coming? you betcha.

who benefits in all of this? To paraphrase a Mama & Papa's song - "no one's getting fat 'cept Mama Gas..."

on the bright side -- the higher the prices go - the lower bush*'s numbers go -- dare we hope for a "regime change" of our own?
