My brother just got fired

He called me with the news last night, after he polished off a quarter bottle of bourbon. He's in IT/desktop support. He didn't like the job and had been job hunting in the meantime, but he drew the short straw yesterday. He said that he didn't mind, he had had enough. His only regret was that he didn't get to quit first.

Hold a good thought for him. Thanks.

1. Tell him to look on the bright side

at least he can collect unemployment and devote all his time to the job search (I know, being fired sucks but you have to have a positive attitude.)

he's threatening to get new credit cards just in case. I know too many who've gotten into debt trouble 'cause of that. Also, he's just getting past a bankruptcy. I don't want to see him go thru' that again.

My youngest brother just got the graphic artist job, and he's doing well. My middle brother just got fired. He had that job for the past 5 years or so. He said that he could do the job with his eyes closed--which he did.
