Is there any way I can get my 50k generator down to the gulf coast?
I have a 50K generator that I wished I could send down there.I will crate it and lend it.I am not trying to be greedy but I kind of would like it back.Is there anyone going down to help from the northeast(I am in western Pa)This thing is huge(it literally can run an airport, hospital etc).I have a trailer that I can mount it on for the trip.
Thanks for the advice in advance.

1. Call the Red Cross or FEMA
but the odds that you would get it back within six months are zero and the odds that you would get it back ever are very, very low.

2. Call the Army
If the Army gets deployed to set up refugee camps, they'll need generators like this. When we did Andrew we rented generator sets because Army generators aren't big enough to run a refugee camp.

The Army will treat your generator nicely and you're more likely to get it back from the Army than you are from FEMA.

3. I want to give money, but I want to give through a secular organization
as opposed to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army - any suggestions?
