About to call the red cross

do you have to give credit card info, etc. over the phone, or can you pledge and then mail in a check? I have no credit card... so I could only do the latter.

Try to locate a local office to drop your check off at. It's faster if you don't want to use your card.

at least when we called the red cross in our area they said they did. Healthy folks (you need a check-up) that can put in 9-14 days. We will go to an orientation tomorrow to see if we can do it (because of what I do I might not be able to get that much time off, but still want to try).

7. Understandable completely

I probably will not be able to do it myself unless I can do a shorter time period. I just wanted to get it out there a little because I had assumed they would want only trained people, but at least here they just need healthy willing folks.
