I am just pissed off beyond belief....

Please let me get this off my chest. I am going crazy. I must vent.

I am pissed off watching these media images of people in clear and acute suffering and BushCo telling people "they understand"... as if George has ever had a day of suffering in his life, other than when his coke dealer didn't deliver.

I am pissed off because our federal government knew for years about this potential situation. I recall being in High School learning about how vulnerable New Orleans was to hurricane/flood waters. If I can learn this in HS, why can't our motherfucking government?

I'm pissed off that Congress is giving Big Oil billions in tax breaks when they are enjoying the highest profits in 70 or so years.

I am pissed off that we are pouring hundreds of billions into Iraq when I can think of about hundreds of billions of better things to pour money into.

I am pissed that our media and Supreme Court fucked it all up December 2000 when a recount clearly would have given Gore a victory. I am pissed off at Swift Boat veterans for America and people buying into hype (oooh boogie boogie gays might marry) rather than real issues.

I am pissed of at the DLC thinking that the best way to get our party to succeed is by splitting it into 2 and emulating Republicans.

I am pissed off the Diebold inc gaining an ever dominant role in our nations electoral process, and the fraud evident in the last election and probably more to come.

I am pissed off about Bush. Must I say more? I think I need to scream:

He actually said that those "looters" (you know? the starving people who salvage some groceries to live) should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I have news for him. If I end up in those people's shoes, I'll probably do the same thing. If my city traps me on a concrete island surrounded by sewage and tells me to stay put with dead bodies laying all over the place, no way to flush the commodes when tens of thousands of people have probably had to take at least one shit, no food, no clean drinking water, no medicine, rapists running around, no help in sight, and no rescuers coming, I'm going to get something to eat. I'd like to know what they think those grocery stores or any of the other complainers are going to do with cans of beans and bottles of water that have been floating in sewage, gas, oil, dead body runoff, and who knows what else for days on end. Did they plan on returning and sell ing those cans of food and that water to someone in particular? Gimme a break.

5. There is just a huge gap

between the life experiences of our "president" and the life experiences of so many people in America, these people on the gulf coast. This jackass was born with a silver spoon up his nose and he just can't understand what people are going through. Even if he could understand, I'm sure he would be more concerned about his own political survival than the actual survival of those out there.

Sounds of steam blowing out of my ears.....

If he can't understand, how can he lead this country. He can't. And my sanity is chipping away because of it. Maybe some of it will return tomorrow.
