but isn't it the case at DU there is only a certain number of live threads in any forum at a given time, and once a thread is pushed far enough down the list it becomes archived? Normally this would take a few days, but with the flurry of activity an unkicked thread gets relegated to the archives really fast.

That's my theory anyway.

12. Well, GD was probably more

infested with freepers today than most days - because most of the threads screamed outrage at Bush for the human disaster in NOLA caused by the levee breaks which never got repaired because Bush held up the funds, and of course, about the growing reports of human suffering, degredation and death cause by Bush's delays in getting aid to the area.

Any day Bush gets blasted on GD the freepers are out in force trying to disrupt the threads.

But I don't think that's representative of GD on most days. I've just learned to disregard the freeptards. The biggest problem with GD is too many posters, too many threads, and threads disappear from the first page in a matter of minutes.
