Who's subbing for Larry King tonight?!?

I just heard a promo for tonight's 'Larry King LIVE' show, and they said that they'll be asking hurricane relief and disaster coordinators "the tough questions."

*SOMEONE* must be sitting in for Larry if they're going to be asking tough questions of Bush Admin figures.

1. So its not just me that finds Larry King more annoying than
a boil inside your nose?

I like Aaron Brown though - he was pissed last night.

2. Yeah, some of these CNN people seem to be getting hard-nosed...
... at least relative to this disaster. Maybe it's because so many are based in Atlanta, in the Southeast, where gas prices have spiked higher than anywhere else. Even the normally grinning and vacuous Soledad O'Brien was talking tough this morning.

Of course, both Soledad and Miles O'Brien were also talking about "who's to blame", and were unable to turn their flashlight on themselves and other "journalists" -- for having allowed this inept, criminally negligent Republican Admin & Congress to gut the infrastructure that had been built-up over 50 years of liberal/progressive management.

And then the econ guy (Serwer?) pops in and talks about the latest economic and unemployment figures, saying, "these numbers are significant, in that these will be the last numbers before the impact of Katrina." -- ah, the rationalization for the start of Bush's Depression begins.
