Twice in the last three nights, I've killed a spider on me in bed

It's starting to creep me out. The other night I was fast asleep.... when I felt a trickle lick a drop of water run down the back of my neck... I immediatly jumped up and turned on the light and lifted up my pillow. There it was... I killed him.
Last night I was just starting to nod off and felt my hair flicker kinda funny, I quickly swatted, nothing... then I felt a drop by my arm...I swatted...nothing then I felt a tickle on my shoulder and pushed my finger there and squashed the spider against my skin... ewwww.... a little hobo spider. Thankfully not that big, but then I was creeped out the rest of the night after I killed two more on the floor.
It's time for a spider bomb.

2. In Seattle, they say it's a record year for spiders

I usually get huge ones in my bedroom, haven't seen them yet. But then of course we just fumigated because of the friggin' flea problem we seem to have developed. The spiders weren't doing their job.

3. I grew up in Vancouver

Which is the same climate as Seattle... I live in the okanagan now and can't believe how small the spiders here are.
The ones in Vancouver are friggin huge. Must be the moderate climate

OMG, I couldn't handle that. Spiders are the only thing in the world I'm terrified of.

5. I got bit, bad, the other night

My whole calf puffed up for two days, and it's still painful. Recluse spiders (not brown recluse, which are really dangerous) are all over the place this year in the midwest. The drought favors spiders; they hate damp weather.

And I checked. An insect bomb is not particularly effective against spiders. They are pretty hardy critters. It takes repeated applications and months to get rid of them.

Actually, ALL spiders creep me out, but hobo spiders are especially nightmare-worthy.

13. It's quite easy actually :)

I just get them on a piece of paper/envelope and pop open the nearest window about an inch and shoo them out. Takes that long to smoosh them and clean up the icky mess.

Plus, I want all the spiders possible outside eating up all the damn gnats and other bug-a-boos. Anything that kills biting and flying bugs is a friend of mine!
