I'm absolutely heartbroken...
my best friend of 13 years, my rottie, Bocor is being put to sleep this morning. He has been such a joy in our lives. We rescued him from the pound when he was only a few weeks old. Someone had threw him in a ditch and left him to die. After adopting him, we found out that he had parvo and nursed him thru that...then we found out that he had hip dysplasia in both hips and nursed him thru 2 surgeries of having metal plates inserted...he's tired and it's time, but I'm so very, very sad...:cry:

1. Oh, no! I'm so very sorry.
I now it's not long until I face the same for a 16-year-old pet, so I know how hard this is for you. My baby has hip dysplasia, too.

I'm sure Bocor has been the best companion. You have my deepest sympathies.

It sounds like you gave a beautiful rottie a good life that he wouldn't have had else-wise.

:hug:

2. {{{{{{{{{{ Bzzzz }}}}}}}}}}
I remember while I was living in Germany , my bf at the time had a Dachshund named Dolly who was 12 years old at the time . She old and sick but lively and happy up until her last day . I remember finding blood in her water bowl one day . Her last day in this world , she could not walk - I remember my bf's father calling us downstairs to tell us that they were taking her to the vet to be put asleep ... I could not go downstairs to say bye ... I don't believe in byes ... she was put asleep because there was no more hope for her ... The next morning I remember watching from the upstairs window as my bf and dug a grave in the garden for Dolly and I just went into the kitchen upstairs and bawled like a baby - That was the first time that I understood the power of man's best friend ... My heart is with you Bzzzz :hug:

4. That's Such A Difficult And Heartbreaking Decision To Face...
... but it sounds like Bocor was very lucky to have you to love and care for him. I hope that over time, today's pain and sadness will be replaced with happy memories of the time you spent together.

Love, Allen

5. Aw Bzzzz, I'm so sorry.
They become our babies, counting on us for everything and in return, they provide us with joy and unconditional love. It's so heartbreaking to lose them. I am so very sorry..
