My heart is breaking
I can't even begin to express my outrage. Anything that I'll say will be wholly inadequate.

I don't know what to say

4. To me it does'nt matter that I don't live in New Orleans ...
even if I am in North Carolina , I am still living on Planet Earth like the rest of these people . Help us all - this could happen again because who knows what tomorrow will bring .

7. My thoughts go out sincerely to the citizens of your state ..
I really don't know WTF is wrong with ... see I don't know who to pin the blame on ... its always human instinct to place blame - but DAMN - these people have been left there without NOTHING - they are just standing with nothing . Call Jimmy Carter - where is Jimmy Carter ?

5. It's revolting
on so many levels.

I feel so terribly for the people left in NO and having to face this "help." Where's the compassion? Where's the sympathy and understanding? Where's the practical help?

8. I've survived hurricanes
But what I had to go through was NOTHING compared to NO

This is horror in its purest form

America has failed these people, and as a result has failed us all.

There but for the grace of God go us all

11. My heart is breaking too. I keep going from crying to anger
to this awful feeling of total despair for not having the ability to help them.

13. Mine is in tiny jagged pieces
but thank the gods for the mayor - he isn't shutting up and he's furious and he's speaking a lot of truth.

Talk about speaking truth to power.... and he isn't mincing any words.

Khash.
