Update on Maddy McCall:

merh spoke with Maddy who is doing much better today than yesterday. FEMA and the Red Cross have both arrived and Maddy is helping distribute food and water :)

Phone communication is becoming less sporadic.

Maddy thinks she has some damage to her house, but that she will be able to return to it at some later date.

I did not speak to her, but to merh, so I really don't have any additional information, but I thought I would let you know what merh said because as of yesterday, Maddy said no assistance had arrived.

2. not yet, but she has food and water and people in her area are

starting to be able to get around. Her biggest problem has been living with her fundie sister who refuses to asknowledge that George Bush is anything less than God, Himself. :)
