I posted this in GD but thought the Lounge Lizards would want to help too. :)

I've been reading threads about some of the things the evacuees need and listening to my local news about it and figured along with buying stuff ourselves...maybe we could talk to some corporations and let them know how much we'd appreciate it if they helped out...not just with money but with products that those in shelters really need. So here are some ideas...feel free to add links.

Costco is very blue, Walmart not so blue. It would be interesting to see their responses.
