Time for me to retire. (10pm on a Saturday - I like to think I live life to the full).

I must admit friends, I am having difficulty maintaining my cheerful outlook right now. I hope they start actually helping those poor people in Mississippi soon, even if the federal government can't bring itself to help. :grr: I can't believe they're just going to be left to rot; that can't happen, can it?

1. Just a question. How are people responding to this in the UK?

2. Well, the only people I can speak for are my colleagues at work

and they frankly don't seem much affected by it. I guess they can see it on the news* and everything but nobody at work appears to be bothered by it at all. I haven't heard it talked about much. I am responding more than they because of my association with all of you.

*I don't know what's on the TV news because I don't have a TV. I am wierd.
