9. You would think that the ancient codgers

would be the worst of the lot, having grown up in Dixiecrat and segregated ways. However, I see as much, if not more, hatred emanating from the right wing now with those who are not so ancient.

It's terrible that such a legacy of hatred, intolerance and complete and utter blackness of the soul has to exist in these modern times.

I won't miss Rehnquist, but I won't allow myself to hate him, either. If we perpetuate our own hatred (toward anyone OTHER than Bush!) we are debased as they are. Bush is another subject--I will take my hatred of him probably to the grave.
