1. I can't make it. Money problems.
As in...there is no fucking money. Bills, bills and more bills.

I wish I could.

5. Hotels all over are selling out

I know the Cap Hill is booked. I keep getting PMs with folks asking for info on where to stay and I'm just at a loss. Suburbs are the best bet for now.

See you there

:hi:

8. I wanted to stay at the Braxton because:
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 08:41 PM by EOO
1. It was the cheapest.

2. It was near a subway stop.

3. It's the closest that I can get to staying at the White House without paying $2000 a night.

4. The hard part was getting a flight and I found one on Continental from LAX - DCA (with a layover at, ugh, George Bush Airport) but it jumped about $100 in the next day.

12. The problem with staying in the suburbs is:
1. I have to rent a car.

2. The main reason I would be able to make this trip is if I dont have to rent a car (I mean, I'm a broke college student!).

7. I would bet everything is sold out by now.
Theres a bus going from my state (WI) so a lot of us will just be there for Saturday and sleep on the bus a couple of nights. Just bought myself a sleeping bag and a backpack for the trip!

There's a bus which stays for a longer weekend, but nowhere to sleep on the nights you're not travelling.

We have rooms and flights but... are both going to be doing work in the relief effort, she in Houston TX and I think me in MS helping rebuild so that may cause some issues depending on what we are doing and where we are at the time. Don't think they'll be out of the woods yet but...we're planning on it.

33. Were you able to attend the March for Women's Lives?
4/25/04?

We went and there were more people than I had ever seen in my life.

Before we left we were having coffee in our room and some anti-choice freak on TV said "this march will be insignificant, America is overwhelmingly pro-life"

WELLLL!!!!! I haven't seent that chick on TV since!
