3. Jasper resents that remark!
I think Snakes are the apolitical, who are totally inactive until feeding time.

Cats are republicans.... they may come off as social animals, but they're always looking out for their own interests.

6. Cats are almost always anarchists
or ruthless dictators.

They know no middle ground.

7. My dog is pretty apolitical
Edited on Mon Sep-05-05 01:44 PM by meganmonkey
but his name is 'Quagmire', and only a goddamn liberal would name a dog that. So I guess it's guilt by association?

on edit: he look just like this (but this is just an impostor from Google images)

12. Malcolm X made an analogy along similar lines
In his famous "Ballots or Bullets" speech back in 1964, Malcolm was discussing how Blacks were being sold out and betrayed by the Democratic party which, back then, was still facing the infighting of liberals vs. pro-segregation Dixiecrats. I don't have the full quote handy but I do recall that he referred to the Republicans as "outright wolves," and the Democrats as "political foxes." As both are part of the canine family, he concluded that it's Black Americans who end up in the doghouse.
