I feel like I've been gone forever!

I was supposed to work somewhere w/o computers last week, but due to Katrina, I couldn't even work (no power for 4 days). It has been one crazy week. But I have been very fortunate and grateful. I have realized how much I have taken for granted. It is good to be back!! :) My heart goes out to all that have been touched by this disaster.

I am fine. A few trees down in my yard and no power for 4 days (not to mention the 6 hour waits for gas), but I am extremely grateful. I was lucky. Every time I feel the need to complain, I think about who is really suffering. My problems were minute. There is no reason for me to complain. Just to be grateful to have been so fortunate and sorrowful for the others who weren't. I am glad to be back. :hug:

It was a crazy storm, but I didn't even get the brunt of it. We had sustained winds of 75 mph and gusts of 100 mph which is NOTHING in comparison to the gulf coastal areas. It has been so devastating and sad. Not to mention how angry I have been at the responses.
