My toe really hurts!

My husband and I took the generator we borrowed back to my mom's and we were taking it out of the truck and it fell on my big toe (all 300 pounds of it)!! Ouch!!It hurt like hell. It is the same toe I broke a couple of years ago. This toe just doesn't get a break! (no pun intended) Luckily it didn't break, but I think my poor toe nail will fall off!

:hug: :hug: Thanks! It has been one rough week, but I am so grateful. I haven't suffered nearly as bad as many. Just no power, water, gas, or phones for a while. The water is still contaminated. I am so glad to be back!!!! :) :hug:

On edit, I really just went to get some more sand for our sandbox. It was a long journey, but now we have quality sand!! ;)

I was kind of in the dark about everything. For a while I couldn't see what the devastation really was since I had no means of comminication. But I am thankful, grateful, fortunate and at the same time extremely sad. But still, very very very glad to be back!

I am just glad you and your family are ok after the hurricane. Is your house, your car---most of your stuff relatively undamaged or at least repairable?

15. All fine! We had some trees down and about 200 branches.

But luckily they all fell on places that were empty. I was really lucky! Just a few dings on the car, but nothing major. No complaints from me, I am extremely grateful, yet very sad. My brother is on the coast now rescuing, giving out food and water, finding children's parents, arresting REAL looters (not for food and water, only for jewelry, tv's, etc things that aren't necessities). I hope all other DUer's are okay, too! :hug: :hug:
