"The Situation Room" with Wolf Blitzer on CNN 3-6 PM EDT. I am really jealous of anyone who gets to watch it everyday.
I got to finally watch it in all its glory yesterday and I was cracking up the whole time.
Why do they give such a great reporting tool to a complete TOOL like Wolf Blitzer? My God what someone with a brain could do with all that technology.
The highlight was the computer display of NO before and after. One guy was maneuvering it with a visible mouse (FAR too complicated for the Wolfster) on "THE SITUATION ROOM" center table. He started by showing where the 17th and Canal levee breech that we are all so familiar with was on the map. He went on to show several shots-before and after- and then he paused. I swear to GOD Wolf looks down at the papers in his hand and reads "Can you show up where, on this interactive map, is the 17th and Canal levee breech?"
dead silence......
Uh yes Wolf it is right (click click) here.
Wolf : "I see...thank you ________ for that interactive map report". We now go to ....
Too damned funny.
That guy has the most impressive reporting tool ever at his disposal and he reads from script like Kent Brockman.
I will say this for Wolf, he stayed on the report about Bush ordered the lowering of the flags to half-mast.....he ordered it after Rehnquist died and THEN also issued a press release saying it was also for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
