Man, I guess that Jenny Craig thing works....
I just saw the latest commerical with Kirstie Alley. She's lost 50 pounds...and looks good, actually.

Apparently, she's no longer "Fat Actress" anymore.

determination to keep it all off.. Kirstie is in a position financially to eat specially prepared calorie controlled food (expensive)..most people are not,,and soon slip back into the old ways

but I have lost over 20 pounds in the last month. I do not eat expensive food. I get stuff like fresh fruit and vegetables (which is cheaper than prepared food), yogurt, juice, diet soda, whole grain bread, and regular old lunchmeat and cheese. The key is to eat less, period. Eating a lot of healthy food won't make you lose weight if you eat too much.

That and going for a walk every day or a bike ride will help you lose weight relatively quickly.

Eat small portions, have a high fiber diet and 30 min-1 hour of mild exercise a day will do wonders

Losing weight CANNOT be w/in my control (If this gets out my husband will expect me to ACTUALLY do something about being overweight)

Just kidding.

I lost 25# just by keeping a diary of what I ate during the day and keeping my eating in check (note I said I lost it, I gained it all back + 5# after I quit keeping track and started eating for comfort again).

3. I lost weight on Jenny Craig.
It's a decent program, but I didn't like having to eat so much of the same prepared food all the time. It did teach me a lot about portion control, though. :)

drinking more water and juices and stop drinking pepsi and caffeine. Also eating more sensibly- more smaller meals than 3 huge meals.

My normal weight before college was 140lbs (I'm 5'10") and then shot up to 160lbs. Now I'm at 145 :)
